And when a transit company (or, in other words, a transit operator) receives such a call going (for example) to Albania, then there is a choice:
- Send this call to Albania’s mobile operator (as the call goes to its network), in which case the transit company must pay Albanian operator $ 0.22 per minute of the call.
- To go bypass. Send this call to a direct GSM terminator (to a partner who has a system for GSM termination, we previously told you what it is), and pay the GSM terminator $ 0.20 for every minute of the call. In this case, the transit company earns $ 0.02 per minute.
And also the GSM terminator has the opportunity to earn, because this call, getting into the GSM terminators system, is converted back from the VoIP network to the GSM network, and the terminator pays for this call only the local cost of the call within one network, that is no more than 0.05 $ for minute.
